Our Story

Once upon a time in the virtual jungle of online dating, Tara swaggered into Michael's world via Match.com. They hit it off—or so Michael thought—after some sassy banter on the app. Feeling bold, he asked for her number, and proceeded to text her all night. But alas, crickets. Zilch. Nada. Turns out, he'd been sending his texts into the void, thanks to a classic case of fat fingered wrong-number roulette! 

Luckily, Tara took matters into her own hands. The next day, a message pops up on Match: "I don't bite ;)!” Turns out, Tara hadn't ghosted him after all. So, they set up a date, and she made the pilgrimage from Lexington to Cincinnati. And let me tell you, when she strode up to Michael's door in this killer little black dress and heels, bearing gifts of Kentucky bourbon and a "lucky" pocket square, he was floored. I mean, who wouldn't be? 

Fast forward a bit, and Tara officially traded bluegrass for the Queen City. It was a homecoming of sorts for her, but for Michael, it was the beginning of an epic adventure together. And let me tell you, merging their families was a bit like composing a symphony—each note distinct yet harmonizing beautifully together! With music as their guiding melody, the kids quickly found common ground, turning their blended brood into a boisterous, laughter-filled ensemble. 

They were engaged on Christmas morning 2023 surrounded by the kids, which started this wedding journey. Just another gift from Santa. It was a huge surprise for Tara, Liam and Makena. Max and Bella were in on it with Michael and took the photos and video.  Bella helped with the ring design. Tara might have cried ugly, ha, ha. Tears of joy! 

After lots of planning, they're ready to dive headfirst into wedded bliss. So, here's the scoop: They're throwing the bash of the century in Tuscany, and you're all cordially invited! Get ready for a whirlwind of love, laughter, and maybe a tad too much vino, all against the breathtaking backdrop of rolling Tuscan hills and sun-drenched vineyards. Trust me, it's gonna be legendary!
